Since meeting in Tucson, Arizona in 2023, Katie and Trevor have aspired to appreciate the wonders of where the other grew up.

Katie is originally from Los Angeles, California, and grew up going to all the major amusement parks, the beach, and enjoying the amiable weather. On the other side of the Rockies, Trevor grew up in Denver, Colorado, where he spent most of his time fishing, exploring the wilderness with respect he gained from his time in the Boy Scouts, and shoveling the driveway when it snowed. (Katie has yet to experience shoveling the driveway)

After a beautiful day at Patagonia Lake in Arizona, the two spent more time together. Eventually, Katie moved in with her two parakeets, Pickle and Cobalt, who sadly passed away in 2025. During those two years, Katie and Trevor gained two new birds. A lovely cockatiel, named Jasper, and an adorable sun conure, named Kuzco.

While their family of four was happy, Tucson couldn't compete with the natural beauty of Denver, and the engaged couple moved to Denver in February of 2025.

Since then, they're down to three birds, after gaining another lovely cockatiel named Amber. Katie has learnt to ski, Trevor has learnt how to crochet, and they continue to travel to different places every once and a while.

They look forward to being surrounded by their friends and families as they take the next step.
